Return and Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy governs the return procedures for products purchased on damicoline.com, the e-commerce website of D’AMICO LINE S.R.L., with registered office at Via Esterna Real Celsi 2, 90046 Monreale (PA), Italy.

1. Right of withdrawal

The consumer customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 30 days from receipt of the goods, without having to provide any reason.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must send a written communication to the following email address:

The communication must include:

  • order number;
  • customer’s name and surname;
  • product or products the customer wishes to return;
  • reason for the return, if the customer wishes to provide it;
  • any photographs, if the product arrived damaged, incorrect or non-compliant.

After receiving the request, D’AMICO LINE S.R.L. will provide the customer with the instructions needed to proceed correctly with the return.

2. Return conditions

The product must be returned without undue delay and, in any case, within 14 days from the date on which the customer communicated their intention to withdraw.

To be accepted as a standard return, the product must be:

  • intact;
  • unused;
  • not installed on the vehicle;
  • not damaged by the customer;
  • complete with all parts, accessories and components received;
  • returned, where possible, in its original packaging or in suitable packaging.

The customer is responsible for properly preparing the return package. The product must be safely packed in order to avoid damage during transport.

In the event of a returned product that is damaged, incomplete, installed, used or no longer resalable for reasons not attributable to D’AMICO LINE S.R.L., the refund may be reduced or refused, in accordance with the applicable legislation.

3. Return shipping costs

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing or in the case of an incorrect, defective or non-compliant product due to a cause attributable to D’AMICO LINE S.R.L..

The customer may choose their preferred courier for the return shipment. A tracked shipping service is recommended, so that delivery of the return can be proven.

Until the product is delivered to the return address, transport responsibility remains with the customer, unless collection has been arranged directly by D’AMICO LINE S.R.L..

Before shipping the product, the customer must contact customer service at info@damicoline.it, indicating the order number and waiting for the return instructions.

5. Refund

Once the returned product has been received, D’AMICO LINE S.R.L. will check the condition of the goods.

If the return complies with the conditions set out in this Return and Refund Policy, the refund will be issued without undue delay and, where possible, within 5 working days from receipt and inspection of the product.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the customer for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed between the parties.

The refund includes the amount paid for the returned product and, where required by the applicable legislation, any standard delivery costs paid at the time of purchase.

Any additional costs resulting from the customer’s choice of a delivery method other than, or more expensive than, the standard delivery offered will not be refunded.

D’AMICO LINE S.R.L. may withhold the refund until the returned product has been received or until the customer has provided proof that the return shipment has been made.

6. Damaged, incorrect or non-compliant products

If the customer receives a damaged, incorrect or non-compliant product compared to what was ordered, they must promptly contact customer service at:

The report must include:

  • order number;
  • description of the issue found;
  • photographs of the product received;
  • photographs of the packaging, if the parcel arrived damaged.

After verifying the report, D’AMICO LINE S.R.L. may propose, depending on the specific case:

  • replacement of the product;
  • shipment of the correct product;
  • full or partial refund;
  • another solution agreed with the customer.

In the event of an error attributable to D’AMICO LINE S.R.L. or of an actually non-compliant product, return shipping costs may be handled directly by the seller or refunded to the customer according to the agreed methods.

7. Products not accepted as standard returns

Without prejudice to the mandatory rights granted to consumers by the applicable legislation, the following products cannot be accepted as standard returns:

  • products already fitted or installed on the vehicle;
  • products used beyond what is necessary to check their nature, characteristics and compatibility;
  • products damaged, tampered with or altered by the customer;
  • products incomplete of parts, accessories or components received;
  • products returned with insufficient packaging and damaged during return transport;
  • products made, modified or ordered specifically at the customer’s request, where applicable.

The use of a discount code or promotion does not, in itself, exclude the consumer customer’s right of withdrawal. In the event of a refund, the amount returned will be calculated on the price actually paid by the customer.

8. Professional customers and VAT purchases

The right of withdrawal provided for consumers does not apply, unless otherwise decided by D’AMICO LINE S.R.L., to purchases made by professional customers, companies, resellers, workshops or VAT-registered subjects, when the purchase is related to their professional or commercial activity.

Any return requests from professional customers will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and must be authorised in advance in writing by D’AMICO LINE S.R.L..
